Dodgy tummy
« on: January 17, 2018, 09:43:25 pm »
Archie hasn't been very well for the last few weeks on and off - his tummy has been gurgling - and he disappears outside in the garden for ages in the evening - and he had a funny smell around his mouth when he came back in so I thought he was being sick... He has been eating and drinking ok and enjoying his walks and play so I was at a loss but I could tell he wasn't feeling 100% in the evenings

So the other day Lorraine caught him drinking from the pond in my garden - no wonder his tummy has been gurgling and that smell - was stagnant water... gross

Gonna have to work out how to cordon the pond off so he cant get to it - Or I may just fill the thing in :o :o

Yes he is better but I have made sure he has not drunk from the pond in the evenings.

Don't really want to cover with wire or netting as it is ground level and not raised. It would be just like Archie to step on it and fall in

I think a low level wall or something like that

expensive and time consuming!

I am making sure he has a good long drink BEFORE he goes out - that seems to have done the trick for now - touch wood - till I can get something sorted :P :P
