talented bullies

I tried to do scent work with Lucy at dog class but she wasn't great at it!

http://www.mpacorn.com/news/2017-07-07/Pets/Canines_test_sniffing_skills_at_Scent_Sports_trial.html

With her nose to the ground, 6-year-old Windy walked with focus across the sidewalk like a dog on a mission.
Last Friday, the miniature bull terrier was one of 48 dogs of all ages that showed off their olfactory skills during an activity called canine scent work, a sport inspired by bomb- and drug-sniffing dogs.
“It’s one of the fastest growing dog sports right now,” said Jamie Bozzi, who was among the four judges at the United States Canine Scent Sports trials held June 30 and July 1 at Centerpoint Church in Simi Valley.

I've never heard of this before? would love to give it a go though..
not sure if Violet would be motivated to sniff out anaise? we do play a game a couple of times a week which we call 'find it find it' where I hide several treats in the room which she seems to really enjoy  :P

Let us know how you get on - Violet loves it but she checks the same places over and over but she always finds them in the end - we hide them in shoes and on window sills - keeps her active for a good fifteen minutes  ::)

Lucy would hunt out her ball and find it anywhere - I also used to put it in empty biscuit tubs or Jaffa cake tubes for her to get to it 8) 8) 8) she was very determined ;D ;D ;D

Archie on the other end takes no notice and if you tell him 'find it' he jumps on the sofa for a snooze. If you catch him in the right mood though he will want his toy but I put it into a plastic tub in front of him and put it on the floor and said 'there it is' pointed to the tub - bless him he ran around looking for it - no matter how many times I did it he couldn't work it out - he only found it when I left it half hanging out - bless him
