I have seen this on TV ...LOL...looks funny...but as we know...could be something serious...Toddy had an anal gland infection...which really was the start of his illness...took a long time to clear up ...with several lots of antibiotics...he then went on to develop colitis....don't know weather it was related..but poor boy.... :-*

Archie does this too sometimes - and he has 'expressed' his anal glands occasionally indoors  :-[ :-[ :-[ normally means he hasn't done his second poo and therefore not emptied them fully during normal operations.

I would worry if he scooted often but I don't think he does.

Violet does this from time to time - but gross - we often find the gunk on her cover on the sofa  :-[ and worse on the sofa itself - it stinks!!  :-\ I used to take Billy to get his squeezed but it doesn't really make any difference to be hones and after reading that website im glad that i haven't bothered taking vi - at the end of the day these things are going to happen - but I have to say with all the other dogs we had as kids it does seem to be more prevalent in bullies as we never had a problem at all with the others.. Good Old Bullies eh?!!!  :-*

I agree Claire - it isn't good to get them squeezed for no reason. Archie has 'expressed' his anal glands on the sofa a few times - it reeks! - gross - thank god for the throws over them.  ::) ::) ::)
