Thanks for the warning - it is a nasty disease - my friend's collie got it and nearly died :-\ :-\ :-\ Fortunately he made a full recovery because it was caught early :-\

can be just grass the snails have walked on and the dog eats or a stick the dog picks up or chews. My friends dog would actually try to eat the snail so it was odds on he would get it at some point :( :( :(
